- Definitions - ray, line, line segment, point, angle, acute, obtuse, right, straight, reflex. Be sure you can identify and create each of these.
- Be able to measure angles.
- Be able to make an angle using a protractor to the correct measure.
- Be able to add and subtract angle measures to find the missing angle.
- There will be a bonus questions on angles when dividing a circle into equal parts (I.E. if you cut a circle in two you will have two 180 degree angles.)
We will have a geometry test on Monday. Students may use the large note card given in class for the test. They will need to take their notebook home so that they can create the card. The creation of the note card will help them track what will be on the test. These are the items that you might want to put on the note card:
