We are starting our Engineering Unit. This is a fast paced unit. We will be following an Engineering Design Process. The students are creating posters of this process. This poster is due Monday. It is important that work be done on time as the pieces of this unit build on each other. The rubric for the posters were created by the classes. I am posting them below.
We will be changing the homework assignments for math during this last quarter. There will be a two page (1 sheet double sided) assignment that has students practice the skills we are learning each week. This week students will be multiplying fractions by a whole number. In addition, we will beginning to review the material covered this year. There will be small quizzes and students will be assigned work to review skills they have not fully mastered.

The students can make a notecard to use on the test with information about fractions. We will not make these in class, but I will send the blank notecard home with students. Below is a list of things students might want to include on their notecard.
