We are currently working on Young Authors in class. We are writing the stories section by section to ensure we have the elements of a story arc. Students received feedback on their exposition today. We will be working on the rising action and climax. Students will need to make changes to their exposition and work on their rising action over the weekend. This is the biography project we will be working on after break. Students have their books and can work on the note taking over break. The due dates are on the project sheet. The note taking guide is also on the project sheet. Students have a copy of the biography project sheet. I have graded students presentations for the toy project. I will enter grades in the gradebook early tomorrow morning. These grades are not final, students have a chance to improve their grade by revising their presentation and turning the work in for a revised grade. I will explain to students what they need to do improve their grade.
If the grade is a 20 or less it is because the slideshow was not shared with me and I was not able to grade the work. Students need to look over the rubric carefully before turning in the work as this will be their only grade. If the work was graded students need to revise their slideshow and then make a list of the slides they changed and how. They will turn in this list with their graded rubric so that I can revised the grade. Both the rubric and the note of revisions needs to be turned in to have the project grade changed. |
