- Poster sessions will be set up in the main lobby of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
- Poster session attendees include 2 teachers (Ms. Zumpano and I will be at the conference) and 2 students per poster session. Student presenters will be recognized during the Keynote luncheon Thursday.
- Each poster session area will include a 6-foot table and chairs within an 8-foot space.
- Set-up time is 45-50 minutes prior to the start of the poster session.
I have been asked to have two students present the technology poster room 301 presented last year at Tech 15 at the Illinois Education & Technology Conference (IETC) Thursday, November 5, around 10:30am in Springfield. I will be looking for two interested students whose parents are willing to drive them to and from Springfield. I will meet the parents and students at the event. Before the event, the students will also have to work after school one or two days to recreate the poster, which I misplaced over the summer. I need to give the conference coordinators the names of the students by the end of the day. I'm excited to begin my 7th year teaching at Coonley School. I've been teaching for over 20 years. I love creating projects and lessons that challenge my students.
